UK Retailer Offering Exclusive Modern Warfare 2 Veteran Edition
That Prestige Edition for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has certainly made some waves but if you're in the UK, you have another option...
According to MCVUK, retailer GAME is exclusively selling the Veteran Edition for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Included in this package is the "hardened edition" of the game, an artbook, a digital code to download Call of Duty Classic, a SteelBook case, a unique gift box, and a Captain Soap MacTavish ultra-premium ARTFX statue. That statue stands a full 12 inches tall and portrays MacTavish in the snow camouflage he dons for the Cliffhanger portion of Modern Warfare 2. If you'd prefer this over the more expensive Prestige Edition - which is really only more expensive because of those night-vision goggles - you can pick it up at GAME.co.uk for £119.99. It seems that just about everyone wants to have a special package for this impending blockbuster, and perhaps surprisingly, we checked with most all the local GameStops and many say the Prestige Edition is already sold out. Obviously, the fans have no trouble with the price tag. Therefore, why should UK gamers have any issue with this particular bundle? It has some great stuff in it, after all.
If you've had a brain fade, we'll remind you that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 launches on November 10 in the US...so all the competition may want to run and hide. Oh wait, most already did.

My brother has both CoD 4 and WaW, so I have played, both online and offline, and I was really not impressed. I much prefer Battlefield Bad Company. It just seems to me that everyone jumped on the CoD bandwagon.
And for anyone who says Modern Warfare was different, it wasn't. We have had modern/futuristic FPS' before.

I hate how in GAME a copy of COD4 STILL COSTS £39.99. WTF?! IT'S BEEN 2 YEARS. THERE'S A FRIGGING NEWER INSTALLMENT AS WELL.
Well, Bobby KoRichard keeps walking towards the Edge of a cliff. Slowly but surely; his assness is just too strong for balance against COD's shine. He's practically trying to keep it shining by wiping his a** on it not realising his a** hasn't been wiped.

I also don't care for all the extras. I don't really see the point to be honest. Pay like twice as much for a box to hold the game case in and a lump of plastic? Who needs night vision goggles when a torch is cheaper and the soldier will just be another thing that'll be cast aside as you slowly forget about it.
