TGS 09: Sony Talks 3D, "E-Motion"
You know how Sony has already presented certain games in full 3D, like Wipeout HD? And you know how they're working to revolutionize the motion-sensing aspect of games (see the EyePet)? Well, it's a major highlight of Sony's TGS press conference.
Hirai believes there's "considerable interest" in 3D gaming and furthermore, CG is "easiest and best for 3D," so people have definite expectations when it comes to games and all three dimensions. As for the motion controller, Hirai said we'll continue to see "more development" with the upcoming motion sensing technology; it will be an ever-evolving process, apparently (which isn't exactly surprising). Then he said:
"What I've always felt is that while you are playing a game, you feel a lot of emotions, it's not possible to reflect your emotions onto a game yet. I don't think we have realized the full potential just yet."
The more he talks, the more interesting the concept becomes. In fact, he says he wants to place the letter "e" in front of "motion" to get "e-motion;" it's Kaz's dream, as he reminds us that cameras can capture the emotions in our eyes and even our sweat. Of course, everything isn't "fully developed" just yet but they can talk about the future all they wish. There's no doubt that stuff like this will challenge Nintendo's stranglehold on the motion-sensing part of the industry, and Microsoft's Natal will have to stand up and deliver as well.
Moving on!

However, we will all need to get new TVs for it to work, except for a small number of folks who already purchased on of the high end screens that have 3D capability already.

I would strongly recommend copying any file you can, in addition to making the backup file. Better safe than sorry. And remember to sync your trophies before you switch the drives.
Maybe The Highlander has something better to add.

Imagine one option on God of War three were you control kratos and ust the motion controllers for his swinging his blade weapons or say UFC and fight night,LBP, Killzone, Ratchet and clank, resistance, eyepet.all these franchises and many more could use the motion controller in different unique ways as an optional experience. this is why Wii is starting to fall in popularity is because nintendo are failing to release regular games consistantly and are relying on WII fit and Wii sports types of games. Ive yet to see a Wii game come out that maximises the Wii's motion and utilises it into gameplay where people see if go OMFG WTF that just wowed me.
