New Modern Warfare 2 Trailer Inbound

Remember when Infinity Ward told us to expect "some huge surprises" from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2?

Well, despite our enthusiasm for the game, we kinda thought the developers were just trying to keep everyone excited even after seeing all the available media and reading all the info...'cuz there's a ton of it. But community manager Robert Bowling said that the amount of awesomeness that was yet to be unveiled made this "a whole new game," so we just had to pay attention. And now, Bowling says on his Twitter page that a whole new trailer is incoming. Could this be where we see some of those previously hidden features and goodies? Here's the Tweet, just in case you're not into the whole linking thing:

"Just reviewed the final cut, this is the one I've been waiting for! All new Modern Warfare 2 trailer hits online Sunday, OCT 4th!"

He certainly makes it sound like we'll see something new, at any rate. It also proves that the game is on track for its November 10 launch date, as if there was ever any real doubt; heck, a bunch of publishers who decided to push their promising titles into next year to avoid Modern Warfare 2 would suddenly feel pretty silly. No, this bad boy will almost definitely hit the mark, and we'll be interested to see what this new trailer is all about in a few days.

I'm not the typical special edition purchaser. In fact, I've never bought a special edition of any game, but Infinity Ward will be getting $150 from me this time for that MW2 Prestige Edition. These guys are masters of game development. I find myself comparing every game I play with Call of Duty and nothing has added up yet. Shooters forever!!! Duty forever!!! IW forever!!! Sorry Treyarch, Nazi Zombies was pretty innovative but copy and paste just doesn't cut it. Infinity Ward is the true artist behind this franchise.

He's gonna put his lights off,put the night vision goggles on, and play MW2 in the dark, its that simple.

There is just too much hype surrounding this game. IW is up Microsofts a** anyway so we won't get anything special that xbox doesn't. this trailer btter show somehting spectacular 'cause I'm expecting so much from this game now.

i dont think revealing any of the "suprises" in the new trailer would be very smart, which is why ive decided I wont watch it. lol. I want suprises to be a suprise, i unno thats just me. I like to keep an aire of mystery when i first crack open a new game.

Can't wait for the new trailer. The online game play trailer was sick. I will probably go straight to online as soon as I get the game this time. Story mode will have to wait.

Even though I'm going to buy this game on the first week. I don't think it deserves to be GOTY. The story is not enough... and it's not a huge upgrade like Uncharted to Uncharted 2. I really hope Uncharted 2 wins, It deservers it way more. I want Naughty Dog to take the crown.
