EA Sports Secures Their Own Spot In The PlayStation Store
Capcom was the first publisher to have a space all to themselves on the PlayStation Store, but we figured they wouldn't be the last. Next up on the list? Well, here's a hint...they've already got a damn big space all of their own in PlayStation Home.
Yep, it's EA, and if you check the Store today - it is Thursday, after all - you will find a bunch of new content, along with EA's very own corner o' the Store. As noted by PlayStation LifeStyle, EA Sports rounds up all the demos, trailers, and downloadable content for their products and drops them into one easy-to-access spot; under the Publisher tag in the Games section. Content for just about every major sports release of the year is in there, and as of right now, the list looks like this:
- NHL 10 (PS3)
- NBA Live 10 (PS3)
- FIFA Soccer 10 (PS3)
- Madden NFL 10 (PS3)
- Madden NFL 10 (PSP)
- NCAA Football 10 (PS3)
- NCAA Football 10 (PSP)
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (PS3)
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (PSP)
- Fight Night Round 3 (PS3)
- Fight Night Round 4 (PS3)
- NHL 3-0n-3 Arcade (PS3)
- FIFA 09 (PS3)
- NASCAR 09 (PS3)
- NFL Head Coach 09 (PS3)
- NHL 09 (PS3)
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 (PS3)
There will always be plenty of stuff crammed into this particular section of the Store, and you can bet your bottom dollar that EA won't be the last major publisher to get some special treatment. Perhaps Activision will be next or maybe Ubisoft...who knows? But we always crave new content for the Store, so it's a 100% positive, no matter how you slice it.

shame i dont like any EA sports games.
i wish someone would come out with another NRL game.
the first one was really good and fun, second was riddled with bugs and thats what destroyed its sales and reputation.
but seeing that EA sports are starting to come out with some really good titles mayb we could see another yearly series coming?
NRL 2010?
