FIFA 10 Smashes Records In Europe
It will probably never be as popular in North America as it is in Europe and other regions around the globe, but...well, EA might not even need us for this one.
Today, EA has announced that the recent launch of FIFA 10 is a legitimate record-breaker; the hotly anticipated soccer title sold 1.7 million copies at European retail in its first week of availability, which makes it the "fastest selling sports game ever and EA's biggest European launch in history." Well, damn. It's not scheduled to release in the US until October 20 but then again, it makes perfect sense that Europe sees this bad boy first. Said Peter Moore, president of EA Sports:
"We were confident that FIFA 10 would be a hit, and this week fans across Europe have shown just how much they love this game. We are incredibly proud of FIFA 10 and this kick-off for great, authentic football competition."
So far, most of the critical scores come from European sources but they're all very high - it's currently averaging nearly 92% at GameRankings - and you can bet that soccer fans everywhere are happy that EA continues to provide them with very realistic depictions of their favorite sport. Since the European launch, there have already been over 10 million gaming sessions recorded, with over 155,000 gamers playing online simultaneously. That's just crazy. We'll be bringing you our review of the game later this month but needless to say, we have very high expectations.

the commentary always gets the play wrong.
like ill make a break shoot and score and the commentary will say well that shot was not good enough just high of the crossbar.
EVEN THOUGH IT WENT IN!
or they will say defender makes a brilliant tackle when i passed the ball before the defender got to me.
its like WTF
are they watching a different game to me.
one thing thats really annoying though is im constantly getting free kicks against me.
i allways and only use conservative tackle x.
but almost every single tackle i make i give away a free kick its driving me insane.
and they need to adjust the power when shooting.
ill be lining up a shot and feather touch circle for a shot and the balls kicked so high the moons going to get knocked out.
same with corners, i can never score from a corner i try to header it in and it always goes way to high way over the crossbar even though i only feather tapped circle.
a feather tap should be a feather tap, if your angry with the commentators give them the ball after the game!

im pretty sure madden started using it this year, and its actually quite incredible.
it simulates human moment almost perfectly.
it has the most powerful physics based engine to date.
i hope some games really start to use it, because it has allot of potentional.
same as DMM (digital molecular modeling) like the tech that was powering star wars the force unleashed.

FIFA 10
