Tony Hawk: Ride Soundtrack Revealed
Sound in video games is more important than ever, especially in the case of certain genres.
Robomodo's Tony Hawk: Ride will feature an innovative skateboard peripheral for your feet, plus the likenesses of many of the sports legends, including Paul Rodriguez, Birdman, Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins, and more. But without a kick-ass soundtrack, our high-flying antics will seem a little bland. This is why we're happy to see 50 different tunes on tap for the game and if you're an alternative rock fan, you'll definitely be satisfied with the selection. Leading the way are Green Day with "Murder City," Beck's "Gamma Ray," Wolfmother's "Joker & the Thief," and Modest Mouse's "Satellite Skin;" feel free to check out the full list at your leisure. It includes the likes of "I Got Mine" by The Black Keys, "Two Ways Out" by Darker My Love, "Cellular" by Half Astro, "Cissy Strut" by The Meters, "Death Processions" by Morning After Girls, "The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret" by Queens of the Stone Age, "All Babes Are Wolves" by Spinnerette, "Zero" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and much more. We figure if there's enough music to enhance the experience, that makes our teetering on a plastic skateboard accessory that much more appealing.
Tony Hawk: Ride is scheduled to arrive for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii on November 17, only a week after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 drops. November will be fun.

Now I'm an old skater myself, so I felt comfortable trying this thing out, but the board needs some design help!!
