Public Beta For ModNation Racers May Drop Before December
Not only do most big games receive demos in this generation, but due to the explosion of online multiplayer, many also give players beta test opportunities. Therefore, don't be surprised to hear about a public beta for ModNation Racers some time soon.
According to TheGamerAccess, it seems a Sony employee is already involved in a closed beta test for the game that embraces LittleBigPlanet's concept of "Create, Play, Share." We had heard earlier that a beta test would be forthcoming by December, but there's sometimes no way of knowing if betas will be public or entirely private. We'd really love to get a shot at testing this bad boy, just because we're big fans of the idea: not only can you build your own racetracks piece by piece, but you can also race on them within minutes of completing your creation. Remember that E3 Developer Walkthrough video where the presenter whipped up a completely unique track in mere minutes? If you're a fan of LBP and you've always had the inventive urge within you, ModNation Racers is definitely a game you'll want to try. And if they're already testing it internally, shouldn't we expect an external test at some point in the near future? Last year, we got the PlayStation Home beta (which is always a "beta," really) for a Christmas present; maybe this will show up a little earlier.
In all reality, the "Create, Play, Share" idea is essentially limitless. Therefore, the inherent longevity in a game that adopts this philosophy should be downright insane...as evidenced by the ever-growing LBP. ;)

they put 8 days and the getaway 3 on hold for eyepet and now sony UK are saying they have a new casual game.
i was preying once eyepet was done they would go back to 8 days and the getaway 3 but thats looking less likely each day that goes by.
sony, please dont make this a going trend.
how much fun this and LBP can be, there no match for 8 days!
