PlayStation Home Activity Doubles In Past Six Months
PlayStation Home has expanded rapidly in 2009; if you haven't checked it out in several months, you're likely missing out on many big improvements.
And because it's free and just about anyone can wander in and check things out, you don't really have any reason to avoid this virtual social hub. And you know what? Most people aren't avoiding it at all; in fact, Home boss Jack Buser says that currently, over 4 million US users "actively use PlayStation Home." Now, that's significant because as PS3Center points out, this constitutes about half of the entire PS3-owning public in this country. And worldwide, Buser says there are around 8 million total users, which means that over the past six months, active participation has doubled. And of course, this is only the very beginning as the possibilities are almost limitless, and many publishers have already jumped on board. Furthermore, Buser believes that games will actually start to adopt the visual traits of Home:
"Games will look a heck of a lot more like Home in 10 years than what they look like right now. I firmly believe that this is the direction the market is moving in."
We always like to see the new stuff in Home and it wouldn't be a waste of your time to check things out every now and then. Fresh additions like the EA Sports Complex and dozens of game-themed special spaces will undoubtedly draw your attention. Things will just keep growing!

havent been on since i tried to watch the E3 media release, which ended very badly.
took like 10 minutes to buffer than every 10 words he would get out it would pause to buffer again.
i hope they fix this up by E3 next year, watching these things on a sofa off a 40 inch tv is much more enjoyable than doing it in a cramped computer chair and off a 17 inch screen.
