Resonance Of Fate Japanese Release Date Confirmed
Demon's Souls will likely last you a good long time, but there are more very promising RPGs on the way, fellow role-playing fans. One of them is Sega's End of Eternity, which North American gamers will know as Resonance of Fate.
Developed by RPG veteran studio Tri-Ace, this is a title that emphasizes firearms over swords and technology over fantastical magic. The combat is closer to "The Matrix" than it is to old-school Final Fantasy games, but you still have that very clear anime flair and Japanese-style storytelling. Therefore, it appears to be a very interesting blend or hybrid of sorts (the combat is a real-time/turn-based hybrid, if we understand it correctly), and you're probably wondering about a release date. Well, the countdown is over and Famitsu further cemented the Japanese launch date: January 28. Now, considering that we're talking about Sega and not Square-Enix, it's tough to say when the game might arrive on US shores, but we're hoping it's only a matter of months. It'll be interesting, though, because it could very well end up butting heads with Final Fantasy XIII, which is something Sega does not want.
For more inside information, be sure to check out our preview; as you can see, this is one RPG that might just impress with you with its original style and flair.
