Bad Company 2 Limited Edition: Regular Retail Price
Those special Collectors or Limited Editions of high-profile titles often threaten to break the bank, but EA and DICE sympathize with your wallet.
While special editions for games can cost up to $150 (like the Prestige Edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2), EA will offer a Limited Edition of Battlefield: Bad Company 2...and for exactly the same price as the regular retail version. The catch is that you'll have to act fast as this edition truly is "limited;" it'll only be on store shelves "as long as supplies last." Revealed today, this great option for fans will include six special game unlocks; four are for Bad Company 2 while the other two are for the quality multiplayer title, Battlefield 1943. Here's the extra content you get for the game in question:
- Improved Vehicle Armor - Pretty self explanatory.
- Supreme Vehicle Firepower - Additional weapon mounts for the driver.
- Vehicle Motion Sensor - Locate enemy units in proximity to vehicle.
- Tracer Dart Pistol - Attaches to any vehicle "to track, lock on, and fire rockets onto moving targets even beyond line of sight."
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 releases in North America on March 2 and three days later in Europe. If you're fast, you can pay the standard $59.99 and still receive these extra goodies, but just remember that there's no knowing how many Limited Editions EA will produce, or how long they will last. It's always best to be proactive in situations like this, yes?

So instead of getting CoD MW2, I am going for "Bad Company 2"; looks stunning; especially the destructible environments :)

but this kicks the crap out of MW2, i mean come on who does not like creating their own doors?
why go through the window when you can go through the wall?
and the sound effects were incredible in BF BC, the machine guns sounded like machine guns, not like a troll farting.
the explosions were so loud, i could feel the whole house vibrating, and that was using crappy logitech Z5500 speakers.
i would love to see what would happen if i had my ps3 hooked up to the surround sound system down stairs.

I remember the first time my mate played it at mine, he paped his pants when machine guns were blasting behind him then explosions were taking place all around as the house he was in was being destroyed bit by bit by the unfriendly tank which was knocking at the door.
