If you hadn't noticed, we at PSXE are big fans of Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins, which has certainly reawakened my age-old love of RPGs and should definitely be a big title for the holidays.

In the game, you can hand out gifts to your party members, which will impact their Approval Ratings. The Approval Rating dictates how that character feels towards you and this changes depending on how you answer questions in the game, how you treat them, and what sort of gifts you place in their hands. The only snag is that a gift is only perfect for one particular character; while others will appreciate it, only one will respond with great thanks and appreciation. You can sometime figure out what a character desires by paying close attention to their personality, how they react in discussions, and listening to hints they may drop in conversations you have with them.
