Play Battlefield 1943, Win Code To Test Bad Company 2
Battlefield 1943The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 beta test is already in full swing and many of you have asked about snagging a code.
Well, we don't have any for you, but EA is gonna hand out a bunch over the next few weeks. According to a new announcement at the official Battlefield site, we've learned that all you need for a shot at a code is Battlefield 1943. If you already have that excellent downloadable game on your PS3, simply sign in to play a few rounds and you'll automatically be entered into the drawing. These simple "Play and Win" sweepstakes pertains to North America (please bear that in mind) and covers the span of time between November 24 and December 10. If you don't have Battlefield 1943, Sony is now offering an exclusive theme for the benefit of this promotion, so now's a good time to snag it. If you're lucky enough to get yourself a code, you'll be invited to join the others who are currently testing the game on the Arica Harbor map. EA has said in the past that Bad Company 2 is coming along very nicely and if you're a fan of the genre (or of the original title), you'll definitely want to pick it up.
I just think it's cool that for the first time, a beta test for a multiplatform title is exclusive to the PlayStation 3. You may have also noticed the PS3-branded ads for Assassin's Creed II thanks to a deal between Sony and Ubisoft. Yep, Sony is pushing hard these days.
