Mystery Ubisoft Title On The Horizon
This pic is just wishful thinking on the part of a PS3 owner, and besides, Splinter Cell: Conviction has already been announced.
But it seems Ubisoft is certainly preparing a surprise for everyone, as evidenced by the most recent update at the Official PlayStation Magazine's Twitter page. If you don't feel like clicking through to read the message, the encouraging words in question are:
"Ooh interesting news from Ubi about a soon-to-be announced game that a) isn't too far off and b) we definitely want to play."
This could be any number of things, and I'm wondering if the readers have any bright ideas. They say it's something they'll "definitely want to play," which makes us believe it's a sequel to a well-established franchise. On the other hand, if it "isn't too far off," how does such a significant project avoid the roving eyes of the media for so long? We know Ubisoft will be producing the video game adaptation of Avatar, which has most certainly been announced, and R.U.S.E. has been on the radar for quite some time. Well, what Ubisoft series might you want to see again? What have we been missing this generation? This publisher has a pretty lengthy list of titles in their stable so there are plenty of possibilities...

Are you sure? Last report I saw was on Industrygamers and Detco Said: "but whether there's going to be another game or not, that's something for the future".
Not really assuring but I wouldn't say that's a definite no sequel confirmation.

i seriously can not understand why people did not like haze.
sure it was buggy but so was fallout 3 and that did not stop it from getting GOTY.
it was the first and still the only FPS i have played that has varying combat types.
every mission is different from the last, the mid game swap was brilliant perfect way to keep the gameplay fresh.
still to this day the only FPS ive ever played where im not constantly asking myself havent i already done this.

Don't take this personally because I mean this in the broadest sense; it is not just aimed at you.
I hate when people make assertions and offer opinions that something "sucked" or "is horrible." Then when challenged, they say what you wrote. "I never played it but everyone I know who played it said it sucked."
Here is a tip you, and everyone else, who does this type of thing. Don't offer an opinion of fact if you don't have first-hand experience with the subject matter. Basing your opinion on hearsay will only make you look like a fool.

actually who owns the IP rights to that?
since its on the OPM i would assume its a exclusive so haze makes perfect sense.
if its not that, that all i ask its not made by ubisoft montreal.
if it is hopefully they can shake the curse.
i would go sprinting around the world in my underpants screaming my head off if its a new rainbow six game.
bought vegas 2 yesterday for 15 bucks and GOD! i cant believe how much i miss that game.

1. Brothers in Arms. Originally this spot went to POP but MW2 success will have everyone falsely thinking they can get a piece of that pie.
2. New POP
3. Tom Clancy something or other. Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six. Don't care about either but I guess I like Tom as a writer. Not sure though. The last thing I remember reading was Without Remorse and something weird about aliens at the end screwing it up. Maybe false memories there. I still think Conviction will end up on ps3 but doesn't matter either way I suppose.
4. TMNT Hyberstone Heist PSN Download?
5. New Driver?
5. New Rayman?
6. No More Heroes and Red Steel going Multi-plat. Don't care about either but third parties will be Third parties.
7. Worst case scenario for some? Imagine HD. Maybe Petz HD? Though I heard eyepet was similar.
