Just Cause 2 Pre-Order Bonus Goodies
Just Cause 2I hate to do this because we all know how loaded March is, but I gotta say...just about everything I've seen concerning Just Cause 2 looks unbelievably promising. Like, crazy bad-ass.
And if you've been swayed and you wish to pre-order the game at one of the participating retailers, you can net an extra piece of content. It depends on the retailer, but the following will be available for North America pre-orders: Rico's Signature Gun (noted as "deadly accurate"), Bull's Eye Assault Rifle (more powerful than the standard assault rifle), Chevalier Classic ("increased top speed and superior handling"), Chaos Parachute (it boasts a skull), and the Agency Hovercraft ("the most flexible form of transportation in the game"). You can view them all over at the game's official site, and be sure to check out the available trailer. You can pre-order the game now, which will guarantee that you can bring your copy home on March 23, 2010. There are plenty of amazing titles scheduled for the first quarter of next year but I have to say, few - if any - are like Just Cause 2; this game is like a slightly more insane version of GTA with high-flying stunts and plenty of over-the-top effects.
Am I recommending this over stuff like God of War III? No, not necessarily. But I'm certainly urging you not to overlook it...this one could really surprise you.

cant wait till it comes out, i mean come on.
who does not want to leap out of a helicopter open your parachute than winch onto a moving vehicle and go for a ride?
this game is what mercenaries 2 should of been.
i cant resist a open world game.
only game that could be better than this is mafia 2, and thats not coming out till god knows when.
thats been in development since the dawn of time.
me thinks we have another duke nukem forever on our hands.

sure, it might not feels as real as GTAIV, or move as fluid as assassin's creed II but, it sure looks like a lot more fun than mercenaries 2...
it just looks like a fun over-the-top action game to me... i'm sure i won't be buying half of whats available in the spring but, this is a title that will stay on the radar, along with the other titles confirmed for spring...

Either way, I am keeping an eye on this game. I'll see how the previews pan out over the coming weeks. Maybe they'll sucker me in on this one.
