Arkham Asylum Game Of The Year Edition Confirmed?
Batman: Arkham AsylumLast year's Batman: Arkham Asylum by Rocksteady Studios was absolutely one of 2009's best. This is why it deserves a Game of the Year Edition.
Although we didn't give that illustrious award to this particular game (you all know what won), we - like most other sources - at least nominated Arkham Asylum for GotY. Now, is a nomination by many sources enough to warrant the aforementioned special edition? It appears so; a reader has sent us this evidence, which clearly says a Game of the Year version of the wonderfully polished action title will be headed our way in 2010. The question is, what might it include? The new GotY version of LittleBigPlanet rewarded late visitors to Sackboy's world with a ton of downloadable content and most of the time, we do get plenty of extra stuff. We'll be interested to see what Rocksteady wants to toss into this edition and we assume that info will be ready when the announcement arrives. Some of you missed this one last year - too busy playing inFamous? - but there's always time to play catch-up. ...let's just hope this doesn't show up on the same day as Final Fantasy XIII, or something.
We'll let you know when this becomes official. In the meantime, we'll also be on the lookout for news of the sequel; Arkham Asylum 2 was confirmed at last year's Spike TV VGAs.

but the best part in AA is the flshback the scarkrow induces.
i was like WTF?
your walking than everything goes dark and your back as a kid in the scene where your parents get killed.
than the part where the joker is bringing you in.
that in the cartoon bizo would of resulted in everyone taking off there glasses cleaning them, and booking themselves in for a eye exam.
i seriously thought i did something wrong, especially when i got shot i thought id have to go back and do something differently.
brilliant!
for the first time ever, a game made me say i dident see that coming.
