Sadistic Weapon Customization Found In Dead Rising 2
This kind of ingenuity is creepy and even unsettling...but dear Lord, just imagine the possibilities as we dip into our typically-covered wells of sadistic creation!
This picture you see here comes from the Capcom Unity Blog and it shows you the result of combining items into one insane weapon. Now, we still aren't entirely sure when this one will arrive, but that doesn't mean you have to hold off dreaming. In the past, we've seen action games feature the ability to use various environmental objects as weapons and in fact, it was one of the primary appeals of the original Dead Rising. Those who remember using everything from tables to umbrellas to that freakin' nutso lawnmower know what I'm talking about. But to be able to combine these objects into even more effective weapons for slicing and dicing...? It just sounds downright diabolical! For PlayStation 3 owners who missed out on the first title, the sequel will be their first chance to survive against the oncoming undead hordes. It plays a little different than something like Resident Evil; it almost feels a bit like GTA, if you really think about it.
And to have the ability to get all creative when it comes to weapon customization is a huge bonus. Suddenly, we're hoping to see a comprehensive list somewhere that details all the possible combinations, just so we can try 'em all when the game finally arrives.

sorry, but this is the only zombie game coming to the ps3 and we literally have seen no videos of it, no screenshots, no info, hell i cant remember the last preview i read.
come on capcom hurry the %$#@ up and release some info on this dam thing, than hurry up and release it.
and this time make sure its in stores available on release date.
8 days after dark voids release and i STILL can not find a copy.
40+ stores i have checked over the last week and no one has received their copies yet.
WTF is the point of having a release date if the bloomin games not going to be in the bloomin store by then?
bloomin hell!
not like this is the first time either, the same thing happened with DMC4, resident evil 5, street fighter IV and many other capcom games.

This isn't the only zombie game coming to the PS3. Dead Nation is coming too.
Where do you live that you can't find Dark Void? Every store here has it in stock and it hasn't sold well at all. Very easy to find and I'm not even looking for it. The price should be dropping very soon.

yea but dead rising is just a small downloadable title like the other million and one ive played.
dead rising 2 is different.
AU.
for some reason this always happens with capcom games.
red ant are the distributors capcom uses, i wonder if any other publishers use them because this has never happened with other games only capcoms.
the reviews are a little harsh on dark void though, its certainly a good idea just poorly executed.
you can tell the ambition truly outweighed the talent, like a no name developer tried to move the sun and the earth.
maybe if this was done by someone with a little more experience it could of been truly great.
definitely give it a rent though, but definitely not a buy.
