OPM Rumor: inFamous 2 Lands In 2010
First, we hear that Atlus may give role-playing fans Demon's Souls 2 before the year is out and now, we see a rumor for yet another highly anticipated sequel.
And again, this one should also arrive in 2010: it's inFamous 2, which is something we know Sucker Punch has been working on ever since the original wowed us last year. The source is the newest issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine; it was mentioned in their "Second to None" section and although the sequel is technically "unannounced" at this time, we'll still see the next Cole adventure before the year is out. The article says it will indeed be a direct sequel, but it'll start "a significant time after the first game," which means we'll be treated to a "reshaped metropolis." We're not going to bother asking Sony about this because we've seen their standard reply to rumors all too many times ("we don't comment on rumor or speculation"), so it's a matter of waiting for actual news at this point. Personally, inFamous was one of my favorite titles of 2009 and I can't wait to learn more about the sequel, although I should probably add that I'd be perfectly happy with little more than that "reshaped" city and a few new powers. The first one was so engaging and addictive; I really don't want them to change the gameplay at all.
We'll see when Sucker Punch or Sony plans to give us some official information and in the meantime, what would you like to see in the sequel? Let us know all about your hopes and dreams for inFamous 2...

Based on fun factor, and replayability, it reigned supreme for me over the other great sp adventures of the year, like AC2, and Batman. And despite what some say, the graphics are really awesome to me, with awesome textures for an open world game, beautiful lighting, and vertigo inducing verticality and scale.
From what i heard it will have online (not that it would need it). I guess there's been a lot of comparisons to it and Crackdown 2 (also coming out sometime this year). But, I hope Sucker Punch takes their sweet time with it. So, I can wait until next year.

Add some Batman: AA kind of maps to help you find the MASSIVE amount of shards and collectibles they hid in that massive city too, please... work on the graphics a bit... adding more story content won't be bad either...
They should hire me in Sucker Punch :D

Keep this the solid, single-player OFFLINE game I loved. This was tied with AC2 for my #2 game last year. Again: focus on SP, there is no need for an onlin mode. I hope you can take your save data from the last game and keep some if not all your powers. That would be a bonus for those who played and beat the first one.

Boy Thunder - "Holy Greased Lightning Cole! The reapers are up to no good again!"
Cole - (Inner monologue.) "Hmmm... If I fry this kid, The gamers will love me for getting rid of his annoying puns. But if I let him live, he may become a cyborg ninja in Infamous 3."
Decisions, decisions.

I can see where you're coming from and how awesome that would be, but somehow it just doesn't... Feel like inFamous... Do you know what I mean?
I thought the traveling around from place to place was kind of fun in a way because you got to get more of a feel of being a human with a bit of spark. I'm sorry this kind of sounds retarded xD But, anyway, that would be cool, but I don't know if it'd be in my taste.

I'm expecting Zeke to be maybe you main enemy and possibly Maya in the mix there somehow. Maybe Zeke found the remains of the Ray Sphere and gave himself powers? Who knows?
Also, for the gameplay and graphics? Just keep them the same! The graphics were actually quite beautiful and the gameplay is just perfect. I'd like to see alot of the same powers come back and maybe a few new ones. Another thing, please don't change voiceovers! The voiceovers weren't all that bad and I'd love to see them come back.
Come on Sucker Punch! Second verse, same as the first!

I finished this game on hero a few days ago and now going back to play with the evil side of the campaign. Although I really loved the game, I don't really see it needing online.

the game play is very interesting it can take up to 20 hours to finish the game twice on both ways of good and evil
with a little bit of more polishing for the next release of the game a it will turn into a much better game even
for this game being released in the end of this year will be a good time for next Christmas has a good chance to let the ps3 gain another good holiday season
by the way this is my first ever comment over here

Infamous is one of my few platinum trophy games(together with UC1&2 and R&C:ACIT), it was a real pain getting those stunts and lightning shards though, had to start my third playthrough for that, still worth it.
Here's for Infamous 2 being even better than the first!
