Shatter To Receive New Modes, Including Multiplayer
Shatter is one of the most polished, addicting, and overall entertaining titles on the PSN.
But if you haven't yet had the pleasure of playing this slick and innovative block-breaker, you should definitely consider a purchase once Sidhe Interactive adds the new modes. The game was announced yesterday for the PC and that version will feature a couple new modes, including multiplayer. PC users will get Endless Mode, Endless Co-Op Multiplayer, Time Attack and Time Attack Co-Op Multiplayer, and it all sounds like tons of fun. Now, PSN users may feel a little shortchanged but have no fear: according to what Sidhe Managing Director Mario Wynands said in a quick forum post over at NeoGAF, we'll get those new modes at some point.
"Just about to jump on a plane, but I mentioned in the Steam thread that if PSN owners are looking to double dip please note we will be bringing the new modes back to the PSN version (no timeframe on that yet though)."
The Steam version that already features these new modes will be out this month, but if you'd rather stick with the PSN version, stay tuned for the extra mode announcement. Hopefully, they'll come soon...I've always loved Shatter and the addition of multiplayer will most definitely be appreciated, and besides, I could use an excuse to dive in again.
