Is The PS3 Version Of FFXIII Facing Freezing issues?
Most everyone will tell you the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII is the superior version, but a few users have complained of freezing issues.
According to Kotaku, there are multiple examples of one particular freezing point in FFXIII. One reader says it continues to happen in the same spot and other players on the official PlayStation boards have also mentioned similar occurrences. However, it appears that the majority - if not all - of the problems seems to affect those with original 60GB PS3 consoles. So we're trying to see who has had FFXIII freeze on their PS3, and if they have an older model. If the problem is widespread, Sony and Square-Enix will have to address the problem at some point, but honestly, this is the first we're hearing about such issues. Usually, we hear about them pretty quickly; our readers will expose crashing and freezing either in the Comments section under the game review, or perhaps in the forums, and that hasn't happened. But now's your chance: if you can relate to these issues with the PS3 version of FFXIII, let us know below. Also, feel free to pipe up if everything is fine.
Really, the power of the people has come into its own this generation; with so many gamers contributing online, it doesn't take long to spot a problem, and developers and publishers know they can't ignore 'em.
