God Of War Collection, GoWIII Trilogy Dated For Europe
We know we've got lots of readers overseas, too, so we're not about to ignore international news.
And this particular update is big for all our friends in Europe and Australia, as both the God of War Collection and the God of War Trilogy boxed set have been confirmed, dated and priced for the aforementioned regions. You can check it out over at the European PlayStation Blog; as you can see, the Collection will hit all PAL territories for the price of €39.99/£24.99 and the launch dates are as follows:
- UK, Ireland, Germany & Austria: April 30, 2010
- Australia & New Zealand: April 29, 2010
- Rest of PAL: April 28, 2010
If you didn't already know, the Collection features the first two God of War installments remastered in stunning high-definition and running at 60 frames per second. It also tosses in Trophy support; a must for any fan of the franchise. However, if you feel like waiting on GoWIII so you can get that ultimate Trilogy package, that's another option: it's basically the Collection with the addition of GoWIII and it'll retail for €89.99/£64.99. So if you haven't jumped aboard the bandwagon yet and you think you can hold out a bit longer, than you should definitely spring for the Trilogy. Have fun!

Here's what I got in the box:
- Pandora's Box replica
- God of War Collection game
- God of War III game
- 3 God of War soundtrack CDs for each game
- Art Book
- Postcards
- DLC code for extra skins and arena
- A great sense of excitement when opening it for the first time.
God of War Collection is not available in Australia as a separate game yet, but those like me who got the Ultimate Trilogy box got an early copy of it.
I don't see how or why there is such a long wait between the Ultimate Trilogy box and separate retail for Collection. Are they just spending a whole month whipping up a few hundred thousand copies before selling it as a separate SKU?
I dunno, but all I know is I have the chance to enjoy it now. IN THE END, THERE WILL ONLY BE CHAOS!!!

when i picked mine up i was told not to use it because sony had problems with the unearthing the legend doc and was told to go to their site and they would send me out a new code once its ready.
wish they would hurry up, im really dying to watch it, and well theres really no point watching it in a months time when the excitements worn off.

damn, here in the states it was DLC codes, and mine didn't work at first cause there was an error in one of the DLs and then i had to do some searching in my computer history to try and find the page that i downloaded them from
because you can only redeem the voucher once
but luckily i managed to work it out :D
side note: i also felt great joy in opening up the pandora's box replica:)
