PSN Gets Its Annual Spring Fever
Sales are good. ...sorry, I've been sitting here thinking up an opening line for this article for way too long; you'll have to be satisfied with the brief and blunt.
Anyway, Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has announced the arrival of spring fever for the PlayStation Network. If you haven't checked your calendars recently (get outside!), you should know that spring is officially upon us and to celebrate, Sony has once again kicked off a PSN sale that affects content for both the PS3 and PSP. A variety of great games are now available to purchase at half price - that's 50% off, peeps - but you need to strike before June 1, when the sale ends. This week, we've got Gravity Crash and Everyday Shooter marked down to $4.99 from $9.99 plus new PlayStation Home costumes for your virtual avatar; there's "Spring Bumblebee" and "Spring Flower." Furthermore, every time you purchase an item featured in the Spring Fever Sale, you will receive a voucher that can be redeemed for a portion of the five part costumes. So this week, you can get Spring Bumblebee feet and Spring Flower feet; you'll need to shop every week to build the full costume. As of now, the PSN is home to thousands of great pieces of content and to date, over 829 million pieces of digital entertainment have been downloaded by Network users worldwide.
So take advantage while you can and check out the spring fever sale items on the PSN. If you've been holding off on picking up a few things, you might get 'em cheaper now.

@Zemus - I don't know when I'll try to take down a big daddy, but it won't be anytime soon. But walking around Gran Pulse really does give this game some SIZE!!

But who loves the free stuff?
Yeah, that guy.....ME!
So far I've been able to pick up "Rag Doll Kung-Fu" & "Flow" when they had those free timed give-a-ways.
Rag Doll was just an OK game, but Flow is an absolute artistic gem!!!!!!

On the rare occasion I visit Home, I just rely on the free stuff they give you. I like how some games I own (or even rent) unlock stuff. Some people really like the concept of Home, though. If they want to spend a lot of money on virtual items...I say let 'em go for it. It gives Sony more $$ to create support the games the rest of us really want.
