New Greatest Hits Additions Include Killzone 2, Resistance 2
The Greatest Hits lineup is very attractive to consumers, especially those who couldn't snag every last fantastic title the instant they hit store shelves.
There are already plenty of available games in the PlayStation 3 Greatest Hits library and now, thanks to a new Wal-Mart flyer, we know about a half-dozen more that you'll soon be able to purchase for the agreeable price of $29.99. As of this Friday, the following titles will drop to that price so if you've been planning to grab any of them, just wait one more day:
- Killzone 2
- Resistance 2
- inFAMOUS
- LittleBigPlanet GOTY Edition
- UFC Undisputed
We've raved about Killzone 2 in the past and many PS3 owners have already sampled its greatness but if you missed out, now's the time. There's also Resistance 2, which is vastly under-appreciated by many (or so it seems), and one of our personal favorites of 2009, inFamous. Sucker Punch's awesome and surprisingly addictive action title is a steal at only $30 so take advantage of the deal! As for the LBP GotY edition, if you haven't sampled Sackboy and his antics just yet, well...we kinda feel sorry for you. UFC Undisputed is great but you have to be an ultimate fighting fan to appreciate it, right?

Do any of these G.H. games have some extra content, or they're exactly same as when they 1st came out new???
I'm looking to pick up all of them if so.
But if not, then I just need LBP since I've already got all of them except for UFC(which I'll never play, so I'll wind up bargain binning for it much later on).

Thanks on the "get back", that's pretty much what I figured. So it's mainly just GOTY's, LTD's & Collector's, etc, games that include most of the extras in it.
Cool then, this should save me a lot of money not having to re-purchase any of them all over again.
@LV,
LOL, Not really, all I still need now is LBP's GOTY edition, already got all the rest 'cept for UFC.
BTW, what I'm liking most from this new pricing, is that there should certainly a huge drop in the USED prices now too.
"Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy"
And like I said before UFC' will still remain as an under $10 bargain bin purchase only.
BTW, I've been buying up all the older PS3, 360, sports titles for $2 to $4, plus from .99 cents to $2 for the older PS2, Xbox, & Gamecube sports games I still need for my collection purposes.
@cLoudou,
AS you come into Bikertown, stop at the first intersection & then throw a few $20's at the guy with sunglasses that's on your left, who's shaking a cup of pencils at you.
That will be me, as I'm just trying to get more funds to complete my collections.
BTW, I used to have a nice organ-grinder's box with a cute lil monkey named Mr.Bojangles, but the repo guys came took away my chime maker and every since then, it's been all "bye, bye American pie, that's the day the music died".
And then I got so damned tired of the monkey always throwing feces at all of my potential donator's.
But I did wind up getting a pretty penny for him, from some dude named Michel Jackson.

IMO, the time to buy them is right now, & not later after the "Move" comes out.
As a collector, I'm always watching for stuff that causes crazy price fluctuations.
And I think this is one of those times that once adding Move support(as in DL firmware/patches) would only up their value immensely, therefore also keeping prices for them high, and not lower them at all(and this goes especially for the "used" market even more so).
So I think you should start lassoing any of those games while the branding iron is still hot.

I'd recommend LBP before any of the rest because its so easy to get hooked no matter what age you are and more content is added daily!! :)
