Jaffe And Co. To Remain Exclusive To PlayStation Platform
We're all assuming that Eat Sleep Play, founded by industry vets David Jaffe and Scott Campbell, are working on a new Twisted Metal. However, some have asked the following question: "Considering the independence of that studio, can't they develop for anyone they wish?"
And of course, the follow-up question to that is, "doesn't this mean that Jaffe and Co. will make games for the other major consoles?" Well, according to the man himself, the answer to that - at least for the time being - is a resounding "no." In addressing the subject at hand, the following reply popped up over at this Twitter page:
"We have great, long term relationships with Sony and we’re fans of the Playstation ‘art meets commerce’ DNA. We may work on other platforms one day, but we’ll gratefully stay Sony exclusive as long as they will have us. It’s an honor to be published by Sony’s 1st party given the classics they have brought to the industry over the years.”
Now, one could make something out of that Twisted Metal wallpaper but at this point, it's probably unnecessary. The point is that if there is indeed another series installment headed our way, it will certainly be exclusive to the PlayStation 3. It's not exactly surprising, though; Sony essentially gave Jaffe a career and helped make him one of the most respected and recognizable developers out there today. And where would the gamers be without Twisted Metal and God of War?

And loyalty is good, specially if it allows for creativity.
Playstation has always been where experiments are performed. Other than Nintendo, Sony really is the one company which allows the most amount of different games to flourish*
Microsoft on the other hand mostly pays for more FPSs and "realistic" games
