New Bond Title To Focus On "Driving And Racing"
Back in February of 2009, an Activision Blizzard financial report told us that a new James Bond video game would be released in 2010; it was in the works by Blur developers Bizarre Creations.
And now, it appears that retailer information from British store HMV has lifted the lid on James Bond: Bloodstone, which appears to be a racing game of some kind. The retailer calls it a "driving/racing game coming soon" and of course, we all recognize that easily distinguishable 007 logo. Now, this wouldn't be the first time we saw a Bond-based racing title; you may recall 007 Racing back on the original PlayStation. Furthermore, this title makes even more sense because as you may or may not know, the next Bond film - which was supposed to feature the return of Daniel Craig - has been put on indefinite hold. Hence, no movie this year. And of course, the Bond movies are well known for having some super hot cars (as pictured here) and besides, we don't have all the details just yet. Maybe there will be some semblance of Stuntman, in that the player must drive all crazy-like through a movie set, performing stunt after stunt. If that is the case, though, let's hope it's not as infuriating as Stuntman...
Anyway, it's time to be on the lookout for details concerning James Bond: Bloodstone, which is scheduled to come to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii at some point.

Maybe what they need to do is a James Bond a la GTA Style. Open world rules, here's your mission, accomplish it by any means necessary by blowing crap up and stealing whatever cars necessary to get the job done.
While your at it, you can rape the horses, ride off on the women and prune the hedges of many small villages..lol, don't know why I threw that in there, but it just popped into my head.

Yup, I stand corrected & you guys are right, it's a DB9.
BTW, after surfing for a while to research the body differences between those 3 models, I even found that exact pic too over at this site
(it's the 5th picture down).

I also agree with ffrulez...movie not game but I won't write it off just yet, although they could make an entirely new adventure so they dont have to rehash the movie...I mean look at what they did with 007: Nightfire (if you're wondering it was great)

i thought they were making another proper bond game, ala the gadgets, spy, stealth games of the ps1 days.
i guess stealth games are dead, just like horror games and 2D platformers :(
resident evil was horror now action.
fear was horror now action.
silent hill was horror now action.
tenchu STEALTH of the assassins was stealth now action.
splinter cell was stealth now action.
MGS was stealth now action.
james bond was stealth now action.
catch my drift?
what is it with developers these days and shitting on them?
take a famous series and change the genre.
whats next mario turning into a RTS game?
now, nothing would surprise me!

Stealth games take time and patience, who has that anymore?

developers just want to rake in as much cash as humanly possible and for some reason there in this delusion that mindless shooter = more sales than a traditional stealth or horror game.
this is why games of yesteryear will always be better than games of today, back in the day games were made because of a passion not because of a cash cow.
because of that developers did what they wanted, and in turn that turned out to be what fans wanted.
i wish splinter cell would go back to its roots where every single level is filled with cameras and lots of enemies, if you get spotted by the camera GAME OVER! if you get spotted by a enemy GAME OVER! if a camera sees a dead body GAME OVER! if you destroy a camera or make to much noise GAME OVER! have rooms with trip lasers if you break the laser GAME OVER!
now THATS a stealth game, splinter cell conviction has like 3 levels like that and there the best part of the game.
its funny i normally get the shits when i die because i hate redoing things but i love redoing those 3 levels.
i have absolutely no patience what so ever, but i love sitting in the dark teasing my enemies playing cat and mouse with them.
same thing as batman AA, i loved sitting on gargoyles and teasing my enemies with the batwrang.
i guess stealth games are a acquired taste, like RTS games i guess you either love them or hate them.
but i dont see RTS games disappearing, if anything there stronger than ever!
