Mystery God Of War Site Updated

It's time once again to "guess that announcement!"

If you're a true God of War fan, you're already familiar with the mysterious website known as "SpartansStandTall." The URL was given to all those who managed to score the Platinum Trophy in God of War III and the site has been updated since going live. The latest update now shows half of Kratos' head in the picture and someone's image in flashes of lightning, and that meter in the upper right started off being only one-quarter full and it is now three-quarters full, so we have to assume that the next update will provide us with the new revealing or announcement. The only question is, what will it be? Who's that in the quick flash of lightning? Will we be talking about a new piece of downloadable content? Or will it be something else entirely, like some sort of spin-off? If you had fun playing GoWIII - and really, who didn't? - you should be interested in the final update, which may come in the next month.

Just about anything related to this masterful franchise is worthy of our attention, even though we know SCEA isn't planning a new entry just yet.

Yeah I enjoyed GoWIII... on EASY. Playing it on Titan is an exercise in frustration. If ever I get the platinum on this there'll be a GoWIII celebration at my place.

Titan wasn't that bad. The worst boss fights for me on titan was the Poseidon fight and Zeus. Other than that, just block parry and attack, repeat.

It would be nice to see a God of War game that still has the same awesome combat system combined with the ability to control an army of...oh I don't know...300 spartans. I wanna see Kratos take on armies Heavenly Sword style.

What ever it is i hope its for the PS3. Loved Chains of Olympus but the GoW3 engines is too awesome to not use it again and soon!

They spent too much money making the engine, it's a waste to NOT make another game of the same engine. I think they should at least make more games in this scale. They basically just cracked the surface, they should make another game with more titan-scale battles.

Just got the platinum, my 1rst, last weekend.
Titan was only difficult in a couple parts but now that I know how annoying Zeus will end up being I'm no hurry to rush into chaos.
I'm still hoping they're not throwing away the supposed alternate ending with more titans. That would the icing on the cake.

probably will be some DLC, or hopefully the deleted levels and deleted ending.
im a little ripped at SM, they promised GOW3 would not end in a cliffhanger the way GOW2 did.
well, they lied!
GOW3 asks 10 times more questions than it answers!
normally when your ending a series, your suppose to tie up all loose ends, not ignore them all, and create more!

I loved the ending of God of War III, I thought it was awesome that they did end it the way they did. Made sure there couldn't be a 4th, and that's perfect to me.

Sorry guys, I've just joined the forums to ask this off topic question but I can't figure out how and where to do what... so I'm gonna ask here. Yes I'm an idiot.

I've just bought a new LCD TV, and I thought I'd been fortunate in that my existing wall bracket (which came with a much heavier Plasma) matches the holes on this new one. I've mounted it and it's sturdy, looks great etc.

However, I've just noticed the manual states the TV should be 4" from the wall and my bracket has it under 2". Should I worry about overheating, or is 4" an overstatement? ...if I get 1 answer for every 10 thumbs down I'll be happy.

Just got the platinum 2 days ago and checked out the site. My prediction:

A new game or DLC which will be the story of a young Kratos BEFORE the events of the GOW series starting off with him as a younger man on the road to being a Spartan warrior and Captain.

There's so much you can add to this franchise. You can have him battling Achilles or figting the Persians. A ton of great possibilities here.

I love Jaffe's original idea for the GOW series.

After the Greek God's are dead, he moves to the Asgards.

Not sure if that matters to the website, but I sure like the idea of it!!
