Section 8 To Receive 50% Discount On PSN Next Week
As savvy game consumers, we always have to ponder the question, "will this be worth my money?" The cheaper it is, the more likely you'll answer yourself in the affirmative...and hopefully, that's where the internal voices stop.
Anyway, TimeGate Studios believes in handing out presents long before Christmas is anywhere near. They've announced that starting next week - Tuesday, May 11 - Section 8 will be half price on the PlayStation Network. This means that gamers in North America can bypass the $29.99 price tag and snag it for only $14.99, which is a darn good deal. Also, remember that they're including three new maps handed out via downloadable content (this content was free for PS3 owners, but even so), so you really will get the full experience for that price. If you're not quite familiar with the title, feel free to check out a tutorial; this shows you just about everything you'll need to know. When on the PSN, it's often difficult to choose between the many available options but when it comes to deals like this, you can't pass 'em up. Of course, it won't be your standard massive blockbuster like some full $60 games but then again, it should give you some definite bang for your back at only $15. So many of you seem to log onto the PSN every day so if you've passed over Section 8 due to cost constraints before, you should take another look now.
We like digital downloads and all but we still want our physical game collections. Just thought I'd throw this out there as a collector.

I believe the only stuff worth collecting is far behind us now. Everything now a days drops in price dramatically and never sees a price rise. It's like video games of today are your conventional vehicles instead of classic automobiles.
I think downloadable content is pretty cool, though I find myself rarely downloading anything with a price tag above "free", lol.

sorry, but this is one of the worst games ever released!
up there with the avatar, rouge warrior, iron man 2 and transformers 2.
would not touch this thing with a 50 inch iron pole!
not to mention its been out on the 360 and PC for 8 months or so.
