Horde Of Black Ops Details Revealed
So what do you want to know about the new Call of Duty?
Well, GamesRadar has gathered up a whole host of new details, ranging from single-player campaign specifics to the highly anticipated and likely very robust online multiplayer. That list through the link is lengthy, and highlights include: four-player co-op, the fact that we'll play as at least two main characters in "multiple international conflicts," greatly varied weapons and ammo (thanks to the "superior intelligence" of the Black Ops outfit), and Treyarch boss Mark Lamia has said the game is "epic in scope." Perhaps what's most intriguing to us (as we've complained about a lack of a good story in these games before) is the plot that "has meaning and character." They're also taking a big technological step by utilizing the same full-actor motion-capture process used in "Avatar." In other words, if you think this is going to look and feel a lot like a big-budget movie, you're probably right. Infinity Ward and Treyarch have always been trying to one-up each other and although IW has had the edge with their Modern Warfare franchise, Treyarch can't be dismissed.
Or are you forgetting that World at War was arguably the best World War II shooter ever? And you know, love or hate the series in question, Black Ops is already shaping up to be one hell of an experience.

MW2 let me down something bad. A real shame since the first Modern Warfare was a great game and held a lot of promise for the future.

I know we've seen so many COD titles in the past few years and the three words Call of Duty rings like sirens (sirens left to be interpreted by reader) in your ears but I'm willing to give the game a chance regardless of my personal feelings for the publisher in question.
Maybe you're overloaded on FPS or you just hate Activision so you hate the titles they publish. I honestly don't know, but I know a lot of people would be happy to see other great franchises expand in number.
I can honestly understand the argument of having more than FPS to purchase so you are spending your money wisely by overlooking this title. But if you're looking at Medal of Honor with interest and other similar titles (being of the FPS genre) then you're not giving Treyarch the respect it deserves. At least give the game the benefit of the doubt.
I'm all in if there are no grenade launchers, those are seriously a pain...in that area.

So I am looking forward to see what they will do with the new setting. Because I honestly believe they can bring us something that will overshadow the previous installments.
I really though WAW was a great game and as John said it was by far the best WWII game ever made.
So bring on Vietnam and let's see how that turns out to be....

looks like moneyvision actually learned their lesson for a change.
nah, who am i kidding!
it will be either this or MoH at the end of this year, and by the looks of it MoH will come out on top.
but seriously come on guys enough with these freaking war based games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please, for once can we do something different!!!
put treyarch on another james bond title, QoS was actually a decent game, if they did not have license restrictions it could of been a really good game!
but this time take it back to the old style of james bond, you know the million and one gadgets, the shooting out security cameras to avoid detection.
the old traditional and to be frank best bond games out there!!!!!!

I wont pass on it completely, because treyarch did make a truly brilliant WW2 game, so if they can make a good story, then woo. but as for online, MW2 is good enough.
