Rumor: Move Lands On Store Shelves September 2010
We know PlayStation Move is scheduled to launch some time later this year - likely fall - but Sony has yet to narrow down the date.
Initially, the fancy new motion-sensing technology for the PlayStation 3 was supposed to have released in the first or second quarter of this year, but Sony wanted to have more compatible software on shelves when Move debuted. Hence, the delay. And we've heard hints and whispers that we should probably expect an October or November launch but according to Gadget Show head Jason Bradbury, it'll actually be ready for the consumer in September, which is more like the end of summer. As Bradbury said on his Twitter page:
"... another thing I was meaning to say. Sept for PlayStation Move!!! I'm sure of it. Can't say why. Just.. September 2010."
We may have our reservations about Move but there's no doubt that it's a new piece of technology, and one that likely deserves some attention. Can it wrench everyone away from their precious Wiis? Can it top Microsoft's Natal? Will the games truly represent distinct, unique experiences that actually up the level of immersion on the part of the player? All of these are questions that require answering and if Move arrives in September, we'll have our shot at the answers before the leaves fall from the trees.

So Move is going to be there to steal those people away from nintendo and to lure a new type of consumer. But at the same time give us something fresh if we want it. There is nothing bad about it and no one HAS to get it. It is just a new way to entertain yourself on your system. No cons.

Well we're MOVE'n on up,
To the the motion-sensing big times.
To a deluxe MOVE & a Sony PSEye.
MOVE'n on up,
To the big times.
We're finally getting another piece of Playstation controller pie.
Wii's don't waggle in the kitchen;
but 360's do burn on a RRROD grill.
Took a whole lotta Microsoft's a-fryin',
Just for MS to reach the bottom, of the PS3's hill.
Now we're up in the big leagues,
Gettin' our turn at MLB's newest at-bat.
As long as we live, it's you, me & the PS3, baby,
There ain't nothin' wrong with that.
Well we're MOVE'n on up,
To the the motion-sensing big times.
To a deluxe MOVE & a Sony PSEye.
MOVE'n on up,
To the big times.
We're finally getting another piece of Playstation controller pie.

Can't find the original prices Sony started with so I think they took that earlier pricing schedule down, but these 3 Move option was all I could find right now....
Sony says the Move controller will sell in three configurations:
1. Just the Move wand for those who already own a PSEye camera,
2. The PSEye, plus a Move wand, and a game,
This option should sell for "under $100," said Dille.
3. And a full bundle which includes the Eye, Move wand, and a game,....bundled along with a PlayStation 3 console too.

It looks like it was a gamestop website. I get most of my news from playstationlifestyle. Their news always comes first. Reliable or not is a different story.

It's almost 99% positive that the Move+ Camera + Game bundle = $99.
Full Single player Move experience:
2 Move Controllers
Camera
Navigation Controller
Game
All that for $180+ is not farfetched. The game will not be a GoW3, or U2. It'll be short minigame like Wii Sports. To get another player, you'll have to add another 2 Moves. How can this be NOT expensive? Casual gamers hesitate to spend $299 for PS3 console, how does Sony expect them to shell out another $300 for 4 Move controllers and necessary items?

I only replied in the "singular" sense since I didn't notice your original talking about multiple purchases, LOL
No worries for myself though cause I don't do MP, & I prefer to play my games alone.
That way I'm not rushed while trying exploring any game's environment.
FYI, if you don't already have a PSEye, try to find the "Eye Of Judgment" game bundle cause it already has the Eye & stand included.
(It goes for about $19.95 now if you can find it, & I got mine at Toys R Us just to grab the PSEye for $30 less than it goes for retail)

1. the 'Move" helps Tiger improve his...er.... strokes....with the next mistress he's caught with
2. the "Move" helps improve Tiger's wife's aiming ability in teeing up her 3-wood shot, to a spot just slightly left center to either of his earlobes.
