PSN Receives The Might And Magic Of Clash Of Heroes
If you enjoyed Critter Crunch! from developer Capybara and you want something a little more in-depth and fantasy-oriented, you'll be interested to learn more about Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes.
The new PSN offering has been revealed over at the PlayStation Blog, where we find that Capybara and Ubisoft have teamed up for one heck of a unique title: "imagine for a moment that lovely Mrs. Puzzle and dashing Mr. Turn-Based Strategy got together and made a baby - that baby would be the battle system." Then you add in some RPG adventuring, and you've got the game in question...sounds awfully intriguing, no? Maybe you were familiar when Clash of Heroes first saw the light of day last year, and although the developers received plenty of praise, they've decided to take this re-release and "ratchet it up to 1000." They'll be featuring online and local versus multiplayer, a new co-op multiplayer mode, a whole horde of balancing tweaks, new unit skills, and more. And oh yeah, check out that slick 2D presentation! Capy says they believe "2D gaming has a bright future ahead of it in the HD era" and they intend to push it "as far as it can go." Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes will hit the PSN in September so if all this sounds appealing, you should definitely purchase and download.
Now, how's about bringing the PC series, Heroes of Might and Magic, to the PSN? What about it? Totally one of my favorites of all time...
