Deus Ex: Human Revolution Trailer Exudes Slickness
There's one game scheduled to launch later this generation that isn't on the tongues of enough gamers.
It's called Deus Ex: Human Revolution, another installment in the long-running and critically acclaimed role-playing franchise. Some may not want to call it an "RPG," although fans will often defend it as such; these titles allow the player customization and optional advancement often found in RPGs, although it also features the standard FPS elements. They usually have something to do with a broken future of some kind, an attempt to make humans "better" gone awry, and a main character who has all sorts of technological (and seemingly even supernatural) abilities. The good news? Fans are getting their just due, because this is clearly a Deus Ex game. Check it out:
As you can see from this freshly released pre-E3 video, the visuals are super slick (although I doubt we're seeing any real gameplay) and the atmosphere is appropriately awesome. If they do this right, it could easily be one of the best and most rewarding experiences of the generation, so cross your fingers...

If you can find it, try "Project Snowblind" too(it was on the PS2).
It's actually started out as the 3rd game of the Dues Ex series & is still considered as the actual Spiritual successor of the Dues Ex series.
But because DE:Invisible Wars didn't do so such great sales on the Xbox, they decided to set Project Snowblind in it's own universe.
It still keeps all the elements of the other Dues Ex' games, those of the human nanotechnology, augmentations, and conspiracy theories alive.

at the end of the trailer it says early 2011, i was really excited for it.
i hope they show us some gameplay trailers though, what is it with developers latley and just showing us trailers that have nothing to do with the gameplay.
like the KZ3 trailer yesterday what the ^%$# was that all about!?????

The trailer was impressive and does show signs of intelligence the 1st game had. The flashes of the illuminate symbols that we actually have in our world (like on the American Doller bill) made me excited. It should be one of the most engrossing games this gen with a set up like this.
However, this still is all CG....and even in CG there are some hiccups. I really hope they don't concentrate too much on action and eye candy slickness...that would not be what Deus Ex was about. Anyway, the hiccups were small and the trailer in the end is a win.
As someone else said, the original is one of the greatest games of all time and without much of the original team, i can only wish them the best. It's a mega tough task.

First person will be ok I guess, but how enhanced can I feel when I don't have peripheral vision and fps's never have good jumping and melee, always feel like a lead statue moving around on rollers.
I'll wait for reviews, but definitely keep my eye on it.

At least KZ3's trailer showed real "brutal-melee" animations from the game (or so Guerrilla Games is saying). Of course that wasn't exactly a good trailer either, now was it?
