Sonic Adventure Titles Evidently Slated For The Network
We're all waiting for the fleet-footed mascot to return to 2D superstar form in Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 but in the meantime, it's nice to know that one of his best 3D experiences should be headed our way soon.
According to the latest ESRB findings, Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure DX have been recently rated for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. If you don't recall, the first Sonic Adventure released for the Sega Dreamcast back when the console launched in 1999 and four years later, Sega released a director's cut - Sonic Adventure DX - for the GameCube and PC. The latter boasted some physical refinements and a few extra pieces of content. Many fans of the blue streak will say that the Dreamcast title in question is by far the best 3D Sonic installment ever, so to presumably have it arriving on the PlayStation Network at some point in the near future is a definite bonus. The games have already been confirmed for Xbox Live so the assumption that they'll also be downloadable for the PSN probably isn't off-base. And you know, if you missed out on Sonic Adventure way back when, you'll probably want to give it a shot this time...
It makes sense that Sega is sort of trying to relive the old days, what with so many blatant Sonic failures over the years. Really, bring this guy back to his former glory!

I mean, I still have my Dreamcast and my copy of Sonic Adventure, but, I would love to play it with Dualshock 3, and maybe that extra stick will give me better camera control, the only complaint I have about the DC version.
also, bring on the shenmue series.

Speaking of which, I wonder if they'll also bring Sonic Adventure 2: Battle to the network as well maybe with an added online multiplayer. I had more fun with that game minus the levels you had to play as tails because you couldn't fly which is just silly.
