Square-Enix: "A New Promotion With Hideo Kojima"
The question that may be on the tongues of Square-Enix fans will probably be, "oh now what are they doing?!"
But maybe they'll be a bit more excited over this latest development (everyone seemed to be lukewarm over the Dungeon Siege III announcement): if you weren't already aware, Square-Enix is involved with Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP; the publisher will release action figures based on the game's characters and mecha. But what else might Kojima and the RPG giant be working on...? Square-Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto updated his Twitter page with this picture and a message, translated by Andriasang:
"A new promotion with Hideo Kojima is set. Details will be shared at a later date."
Kojima followed this up with a Tweet of his own, saying simply- "A new collaboration with Mr. Hashimoto from Square-Enix." Part of the picture shows the title screen of S-E's upcoming Front Mission: Evolved, so perhaps the announcement involves that game. It seems more than likely, especially now that Evolved has been pushed to September, and Kojima sorta has a soft place for cool mechs. Stay tuned for the info.

please forget about Evolving any Missions, be it either by the front, side, or even the back door for a bit, to fully concentrate on what we really want & need, by giving us another great in the Zone of the Enders series.
BTW, what did SE have to do with Peacewalker? I sure don't remember seeing them being associated with it in any way.

Good times ahead. MGS Peacewalker, God of War: Ghost of Sparta and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep are all on my PSP most wanted list.
The PSP is not finished yet!! Who cares if iPhones and DS's are outselling PSP, it's not like PSP is failing. 60 million sold, yeah, the PSP is REALLY struggling... fanboys, pfft!!!

Squeeeenix is big in Japan. They handle a lot of anime and music in Japan. They probably worked on some of the music for Peace Walker as well.
Whatever game they work together on it'll probably be an extremely niche game like Front Mission or something of the like. Something involving giant robots sounds 'bout right.
