Guitar Hero: Queen Semi-Confirmed
We've already seen several legendary rock bands grace the covers of their own Guitar Hero titles. Isn't it Queen's turn?
The music/rhythm genre took a huge hit in 2009, which is why publishers have greatly scaled back in 2010. Still, we'll get Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and Rock Band 3 later this year and there's little doubt that the legion of interactive music followers still exists. According to GameSpot citing Swedish news site DN.se, Queen guitarist Brian May appears to have prematurely announced Activision's new band-specific title. When asked, May confirmed Guitar Hero: Queen but wouldn't provide any further details; he only said the game is scheduled to release some time in 2011 and players will be able to participate in the band's concerts. This reminds us of the time May mentioned the possibility of a Rock Band title dedicated to the band but perhaps they opted for Guitar Hero instead. If you wish to bone up on Queen's extensive library of songs, you can always pick up SingStar: Queen, which will likely push your vocal abilities to the limit.
In the meantime, we'll just wait for the official announcement from Activision. It probably isn't too far off now.

No, of course not. I have SingStar Queen for a reason. But this is *Guitar* Hero, not Vocal Hero, Queen's guitar sound was almost all about Brian May and his unique ability and sound.
I'm confused by the way in which Guitar Hero is incorporating vocals. but then again SingStar is incorporating music, so I guess it's all good.

No worries at all. I'm a big queen fan. Who thumbed you guys down. I agree about Brian May as well he's a great guitarist. I wish he would have gone to harmonix they seem to put more love and work into their game. I really liked what they did with The Beatles. Guitar Hero Metallica was just kinda umm drab.

(the song "Liar, Liar" was my favorite, which rarely got any AM OR FM airtime).
R.I.P. Freddy Mercury!
And it's a crying shame that Queen & Anti-vision are even mentioned in the same sentence!!!!
R.I.HELL antivision!!!

i mean how can you even think about creating a music game without including one of the best bands of all time?
they have had quite a few tracks in GH games, even RB 2 had the premier of shacklers revenge which i might ad was a MASSIVE disappointment.
Chinese democracy was slightly better than ACDCs black ice but both were monumental disappointments considering the hype, and time carrying both titles.
or even if im going to let my imagination run wild a pink floyd game.
but that would never ever happen in the history of the universe!
they would never get the license from it which is a shame because they made so many fantastic songs!
apparently at live aid they were offed 10s of millions of dollars to get back together and they refused :(
or at least a slayer guitar hero.
