Lightbox To Reveal New Title "Soon?"
We really loved Warhawk. If we weren't so bogged down with so many other games, we'd probably still be singing its praises, especially after all the enhancements and transformations.
It's available on the PSN and can also be found in stores, and it remains one of the best online multiplayer experiences available. Recently, though, we've been turning our attention to Lightbox Interactive's new project; Lightbox is comprised of members of the Incognito team that gave us Warhawk. Many have guessed that it'll be called "Starhawk" and feature an open-world galaxy of some kind, but perhaps we won't have to guess much longer. According to what SCE Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida told Joystiq, we should be hearing all about it some time soon.
"I was expecting that it's about time we should update the status of what the team is doing. The team has been working on something new for a while, and I wouldn't be surprised if are able to soon talk about it, but not at this time."
We're sorta hoping they include a single-player campaign with this one, but if we get a similar gameplay mechanic, that'll be enough. It should probably be mentioned that former Incognito boss Scott Campbell is now working with David Jaffe over at Eat Sleep Play...which is part of the reason we will get helicopters in the new Twisted Metal. Anyway, we'll keep an eye out for any Lightbox announcements.

Choose your side and take over other planets!
Or something of the sort hehe
I just hope there are many BIG planets we can fight in.
Warhawk's damn fun, just hoping for more balance when the opposing team's dominating, at least give us the option to summon extra anti-air weapons and such. When one side dominates the air it's next to impossible to even recover the match.
Still, fun game.
I'm expecting a big game from Lightbox they've had 3+ years to work on this.
