Kane & Lynch 2 Demo Coming Early To Plus Subscribers
Normally, we don't post entire news stories relating to the arrival of a demo (unless it's for some super huge game).
However, this particular arrival is important because it's one of the very first examples of a PlayStation Plus perk. You signed up for extra content, discounts, and exclusive first rights to a variety of things, including demos. Well, here's a "for instance:" the playable demo for Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will be available for Plus members only starting Tuesday, July 20. This Plus exclusivity will run for one week; as of July 27, the demo will be live for everyone to sample. As we're a little new to the whole Plus thing, the PlayStation Blog explains how the automatic downloading works; this feature must be on in order to receive the demo if you're a Plus subscriber. You can enable this option on your PS3 quite easily but just in case, feel free to read through the instructions at the blog; it also reminds you the auto-download looks for content while the machine is off.
So anyway, next week, feel free to give this gritty, over-the-top action game a shot...if, that is, you've already ponied up for the Plus membership.

If you download the Hulu Plus application you'll have to get an invitation from Hulu to join. This is pretty much as easy as starting the Hulu Plus application for the first time and signing up. Once you are invited and pay your subscription fee to Hulu, you can access their content.

Considering you can get 15 months for $49.99, even if you were to take the dynamic themes and avatars for free you would be saving money, not to mention the ps1 games or psn games.
I have a feeling that eventually I will go ahead and get it, there is way more free stuff than I ever expected, just so happens the first month has very little I want, altho there is still enough to more than make up the $4 that that month would cost if you split it up monthly.

But I've been forever stuck for months & months right at the construction site where that quarry loader dump truck is trying to run his daughter down.
I've constantly unloaded at that SOB driver with everything I've got & seems I can never break the damned windshield or drivers window no matter what I frigging do.
I even went back and replayed that part 3 times last week, still to no avail

I remember him constantly going on about it.
It sounds like a bug in the game or something, is there not a guide or walkthrough on the net explaining how to get passed that bit?

15 bucks for unlimited downloads?
im really unlucky, i could get ADSL2+ for 50 a month with 150GBs download usage with allot of companies but i cant do that because there is not enough copper in the lines under my house so im stuck with cable! :(
problem with that is telstra owns the cable, so they can charge what ever they want for it, so theres no competition driving prices down.

"You must be an active PlayStation Plus subscriber to enjoy the convenience of automatic downloads (which also delivers firmware updates and game patches).
If you turn on the Automatic Download feature before Monday, July 19, expect to have the Kane & Lynch demo pushed to your system July 20th or 21st. during the timeframe you designate in your settings.
If you turn on the feature between July 20 – 27, you can expect to have the demo pushed to your system within 24 hours, during the timeframe you designate in your setting.
You’ll get the demo more quickly if your PS3 is not turned on during the timeframe you designate to check for updates, because the auto download feature of PlayStation Plus looks for content while your PS3 system is turned off.
The demo will also be published to the PlayStation Plus section of PlayStation Store during our weekly store publish on Tuesday 7/20. Again, this will be available only for PlayStation Plus members.
The demo will be available to all PlayStation Store users on Tuesday, July 27."
i ended up getting plus and sometimes i end up forcing the ps3 to check for updates. i will go change the time it should look to the current time. turn it off and wait for it to turn back off. the best part is if i dont wait for it to turn back off and just use it again, the game updates are downloaded in the background.

thank god... i am still leery of the automatic download feature because, i don't want the system to download a bunch of stuff i don't want... at least it will be in the store on the 20th when it updates...
but, other than that pointless (IMO) automatic download, playstation plus has been pretty cool... and i look forward to checking out "dog days" because, it's a title i am watching from afar... it could be good...
