Kojima Working On "Third Entry In Conceptual Science Series"
One of the biggest questions circulating throughout the gaming community these days is, "what is Hideo Kojima making?"
There have been rumors aplenty but all we really know is that he put the new Zone of the Enders on hold to focus on a mystery project. Some say it's a new Metal Gear Solid. Others say it's something entirely new. Well, perhaps the latter group is closer to correct: according to GamingBolt citing Chiyomaru Shikura, the head of Japanese media company, 5pb, Kojima's new title will be an "adventure game." But at the same time, it isn't new; it's the third entry in a "conceptual science series." Said Shikura:
"The meaning of why I am personally connected to this project is that this is the third entry in a conceptual science series. And that it is a project with Kojima.
Kojima told me that he wanted to make an adventure game. We’re at the still stage where we need to go to a secluded spot in the mountains and hash this project out, and thus, we don’t have any of the minute details hammered out."
Plus, we've got the rumored involvement of No More Heroes creator Suda 51, who apparently has been spotted working with Kojima a few times in the past year. Now, we're just wondering if Shikura is simply referring to the new Zone of the Enders that is currently on the back-burner; after all, it would be the third installment in the franchise and it could - theoretically - be called a "conceptual science series." But what else could it be...?
