Apply Kojima Stickers To Your Mechs In Front Mission: Evolved

Some time ago, we had heard about some sort of collaboration between Kojima Productions and Square-Enix concerning Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Front Mission: Evolved.

The latter has recently been solidified for September 28 and PSP owners have been enjoying the guaranteed award-winner, Peace Walker, since last month. But the question is, what sort of crossover are we going to get in the upcoming mech action title? Well, hold onto your hats...it apparently revolves around decals. This video shows off the evidence; there will be some Kojima Productions/MGS stickers applied to various wanzers in Evolved; you will apparently have some customization options, too. Want to put a certain decal on the shoulder? The leg? Sure, go for it. At least, we're hoping.

But as this trailer reminds us, you shouldn't believe that stealth will play any role whatsoever in the revamped Front Mission. What used to be a turn-based strategy/RPG has become a fast-action blaster and fighter, which may or may not appeal to you. Either way, you now are aware of that collaboration; for the record, there should be some toys involved with this recent Konami/Square-Enix partnership.

I REALLY like mechs. Unfortunately it's very hard to get good mech games. I'll see what the reviews say about this and go from there.

Getting to customize your mech is definitely a good start though...

I agree, couldn't give a monkeys about some stickers. Gameplay contributions would be higher up my list than hearing about this addition to the game.
Customization is cool but not what makes a great game and name dropping a legendary production company is only a tool to hype it up. Not saying it'll be a good game or a bad game because I don't know either way, stickers aren't what will encourage me to buy this game though.

Im confused..Would this be Under The MGS Name? or just a diffremt project completely? If it is then SE didnt do anything..But if it is then...

Why did they even announce this as if it was something special? I guess it's cool for the fans of those companies but I doubt that they will sprint through the door of their local game store and pick it up just so they can look at a cool sticker on a big ol' mech..

I'm starting to think that this may have some ties to ZoE3. Fast-paced mech action with at least some type of involvement from Kojima... But stickers is kinda dumb, LBP did it better :P

What are they doing to games now days. If you buy this game bc of this then you shouldn't walk on this planet. I love MGS but come on. other then that this game is looking ok, I might pick it up but it wont be a day one buy for me.
I hope MGS:Rissing is the last of its kind in its franchise.

Metal Gear Solid decals huh? I would like some Zeon decals more so, but most in importantly i want the game to be fun.
i wait in anticipation for more Armoured Core 5 news. After playing Demons Souls, From Software is one of my respected developers along with Guerrilla and Naughty Dog.

well, i guess its better than nothing, though id rather a game created by the master, instead of a game influenced by the master.

ZOE3 for me please. That was the only mech game trhat stuck for me (in english anyway). Gundam games on the PSP (Federation vs Zaft, Gundam vs Gundam and Gundam vs Gundam Plus are great games to play!)
