TikGames Prepping Another PSN Title Called Ricochet

The capable team of TikGames and Creat Studios has already delivered several entertaining downloadable games to the PlayStation Network, and now, another is on the way.

According to PS3Center, the ESRB has rated a new game from the dynamic duo that brought us games like Magic Orbz and Cuboid. It's called Ricochet for the PSN and it's "an arcade-style game in which players must break formations of orbs by bouncing a small ball inside the game area." Various pick-ups will let you use multiple balls, have more control over the ball, or allow the targets to be broken more easily. It certainly sounds like another brick-breaking winner and if it's anywhere near as good as Shatter, we'll be plenty satisfied. Magic Orbz, another brick-breaker, was pretty darn fun, too. The PSN has seen some definite gems in the past - if you haven't played Joe Danger yet, you're seriously deprived - and certain companies seem really committed to the service. Besides, we all need some relatively cheap little gems to break up the $60 blockbusters, right?

We'll be looking for more information on Ricochet now, and we'll certainly bring you the review when it hits the PSN.

I really want to try out Joe Danger, but..... I am hesitating to download it because I never know what's available for free on my PS+ account.

BTW is that Kinect game still called Ricochet?

Joe Danger is one of them gems that it's actually worth purchasing and supporting this small but very talented studio. It's pretty cheap too and I'm sure you're already making back your subscription with many of the other free games. :)

I'm afraid that + can't be too good for Sony in the long run. Now I'm afraid to buy any new stuff because I'm betting + will offer it to me cheaper or free later. Now you're hesitating buying stuff because, like me, you're trying to get your money's worth out of the subscription.

they only discount games for plus with games that have been out for a while so it will be donkeys years till joe danger gets a price reduction!
totally worth the price, not only the best downloadable title but one of the best titles ive played this gen!
that and limbo are really good games, finished limbo last night and christ that games really creepy!

None of the games this company has made thus far have really been my thing. I'm not big on purchasing psn games, but even if I were these would be on the bottom of my list.

SWEET! Your first statement is what I want to see in the comments section. Not the "always complaining, boo-hoo, LBP is glitched crap" that follows it.

my only complaints with Tik game and cret is tht them seem to be very slow at supporting games in terms of patching. the patch to fix cuboid took forever to come. That and it seems they are still lacking implementing key features that other PSN games have such as video recording and uploading facilitys, custom sound tracks etc. Those complaints aside these guys and gals have made some pretty good arcady games and i'd definately recomend trying them out. i think the last one was planet minigolf which i was in the beta for about 6 months for, that was pretty good.

I really wish the PSN would have more downloadable games that were regular, real games - just smaller. I'm afraid I don't have any interest in these arcade games that are nothing more than variations on Breakout, Robotron and Defender.

Or at least give us a good variety of the original classics from the '80s - that would be awesome.

There is already a game thats been available for the PC for many years now called Ricochet, its made by Reflexive www.ricochetinfinity.com
They have made 4 games within the Ricochet franchise are they are fantastic, certainly the best brick-breaking games around.

I hop this Ricochet by TikGames is the exact same as the PSN would really benefit from a game of this high calibre.
