High Moon Already Working On War For Cybertron Sequel?
Transformers: War for Cybertron turned out to be a darn fun game, which is why you might see a sequel.
A new job listing for a level designer at High Moon Studios might indicate that a follow-up to War for Cybertron is already in the works. It doesn't say anything about the project, although as Now Gamer points out, the new game uses the Unreal engine, as did Transformers. Of course, a whole lot of titles these days use the Unreal engine so that isn't exactly spilling the beans. However, it should be noted that developer High Moon and Transformers license holder Hasbro have recently said they're "in talks with Activision" concerning an expansion of the franchise into more pieces of interactive entertainment. Besides, we're willing to bet the latest effort sold relatively well thanks to solid review scores and good word of mouth; fortunately for many designers in this industry, if they make something worth playing, they're often rewarded. And at this rate, we're willing to have high hopes for anything High Moon does.
If you haven't tried War for Cybertron yet and you're suffering from the summer drought, you really ought to give it a shot. It might surprise you.

anyway, transformers was a great game. i just didnt have money to spare on other games than my day 1 purchases. Theres 1 thing the game needed though, a cover system. i dont mind the breakable cover but at least let us have a cover system. i played it on the hardest mode and the last boss on each side of the campaign can kill you with one attack. i got pissed because i went as far as almost beating them but i would make a small mistake and it was over. i got to start over and chip his life little by little.

another loop hole is take advantage of their trade in value promotions like extra money if you trade multiple games. tell them to put it in a gift card since they would give you less if you choose cash trade in. buy a used game that uses up everything in that gift card. return the game for cash. you'll end up with the full trade value in cash. i did that when i traded in 3 games that added up to about 50 bucks store credit, got war for cybertron, returned it to get the 50 back in cash.
