Medal Of Honor LE Gets You Into Battlefield 3 Beta
Okay, there are two pieces of news here...up to you to decide which is bigger.
If you're really looking forward to Medal of Honor and are convinced it'll be the intense, authentic experience EA is promising, you might be considering the upcoming special edition of the game. It is indeed on the way, even if we're not sure of the contents or price just yet. How do we know? Because EA spilled the beans along with another tidbit of information: the impending arrival of another Battlefield! According to EA's EA's Twitter page, you can get into the beta for Battlefield 3 if you pre-order and/or purchase the limited edition for Medal of Honor:
"Big news for @Battlefield fans: The special edition of @MedalOfHonor will come with free entry into the @Battlefield 3 beta!"
Maybe MoH can indeed be a true-blue contender for FPS of the year, even if it has to compete with the likes of Call of Duty: Black Ops and Halo: Reach. But we already know how great the Battlefield franchise is; hell, Bad Company 2 is in the driver's seat for the best FPS of 2010 right now, right? If not, it's darn close. And the news of a third entry in the series isn't exactly surprising, but it's still cool.

I just think that getting a beta for pre-ordering another game is dumb. If I'm getting a beta for pre-ordering something I'd rather it be the game I'm pre-ordering than some game I might not have any interest in.

more like most disappointing FPS of 2010!
why did they have to change the game so much?
remove delta squad, remove the name battlefield bad company 2 and you would not know its a sequel to 2007s best shooter!
as for BF3 i thought it was suppose to be a PC exclusive?
oh, great looks like im going to have to wait till 2056 to play a game that pushes my gaming PC to the limit!
im sick of games being watered down for out of date consoles!

As for as FPS overload goes, there's obviously no question that the genre has a disproportionately high number of games being made which, makes me feel kind of bad for people that don't really dig shooters, but grateful that, as a relative fan, I have so many choices. Of course, I'll play anything that's good, but I'm drawn to online fps' generally.
