Uncharted 2 DLC: Sidekick Skins, PS3 Dynamic Theme

If you've been playing Uncharted 2: Among Thieves online, you'll probably be interested in this big update.

It's the Sidekick Skins pack and it'll be up on the PSN next week; August 17, to be exact. The full information is over at the PlayStation Blog: after the last two multiplayer skins, the fans demanded "more Sully, more Chloe, and more Elena." So, that's exactly what you'll get out of the new Sidekick Skins pack, along with two enemy characters from Drake's Fortune, Dillon and Mac. The total list of new multiplayer characters is as follows:

Heist Chloe
Borneo Chloe
Borneo Sullivan
UDF Sullivan
Winter Sullivan
Wetsuit Elena
Dillon
Mac

Also on August 17, Naughty Dog will release an Uncharted 2 Dynamic Theme for your PS3. It's the scene from Chapter 15 (Train Wrecked), where the injured Nathan Drake is stumbling his way through the snow in search of the Phurba Dagger. Hey, anything that lets us adorn our PS3 with Uncharted 2, and play with different versions of Elena and Chloe, gets our vote. Now, about Uncharted 3...

it sounds cool but my ps3 theme with gundam icons and rotating/switching beautiful women wallpapers win over sackboy. plus it took a bit of work to make it.

Is it going to be $10? Because that's what most of their dlc has been and that seems a bit high for nothing but new outfits for the MP.

you are correct, I double checked and all their dlc is $5.99 or less. I wasn't sure, but most dlc that comes out these days are $9.99 so I just figured.

I've stopped playing UC2 multiplayer but bought most of the DLC because it was well priced and had plenty to offer for such a good price.

Naughty Dog has priced all their DLC very fair in my opinion. I would buy more DLC if it cost $5.99. $9.99 and up is asking too much. I don't care what it is.

screw uncharted 3, give us that crash bandicoot remake PSM3 teased ages ago!

why does DLC always have to be MP related?
come on ND, give us a new level or something to play with.
surely theres things that got cut from the game, left on the editors floor.
so instead of letting all that hard work go down the drain, why not pick it up, finish it and release it on the PSN?
even slap a small price on it to cover the costs.

nah, id rather a remake.
because if they do a new crash game, chances will be it will be a 3D game and, well, it does not suit the series!
crash was made famous in 2D thats where he needs to stay.
its like sonic, both sonic and crash are 2 games that just dont work in 3D!

Not necessarily, The Sections of Sonic Unleashed when you just sonic were superb, unfortunatly the game was plagued with the Wherehog levels.

As for Crash while it was hardly 2D, it just did not have the typical sandbox mechanics of every game nowadays. Though i have to sat i did not mind Twinsanity, but aftrer i completed it i never touched it again. After that they tore what was already fragile into pieces.

But i reckon if Naughty Dog worked on it again, it would be treat, maybe we could get some PSN game like Sonic 4.

i dont want to argue with _____ because it wont lead anywhere. However, dlc for the single player/level will cost a lot more than mp dlcs. i thought that was common sense. i'd say screw crash bandicoot, it was fun but i will definitely pick uncharted 3 over it. you have to be a moron to argue otherwise, no offense. i like my games challenging and have engaging story and characters. as long as naughty dog keeps the controls the same for uncharted 3 then i'll like it. one button for cover and roll, if you complain about controls then you should play an "easier" game.

by the way, i do have to thank ______ for which games he likes, at least i know which games to avoid, its very helpful. we seem to have different tastes in games. i like all the great games while having none of the "problems" you complain about.

i seriously can not see crash working in 3D.
so many games have been destroyed when brought from 2D to 3D like worms, mortal kombat, sonic.
i think thats enough classics destroyed!
reason why shadow complex is one of my favorite games is because its so much like the old arcade games i use to spend hours playing as a kid!

I wish I could buy this right now. Uncharted's multiplayer is insane. It is so doggone fun. I play it everyday. I play it so much my wife hates the music! I wish they would throw in another map though. This site sure does get a lot of new information. That guy ___________ seems to be a troller by the way. Always a negative comment or change the subject. Crash Bandicoot is played out.

This American does too. I like the skin packs they release. They don't cost all that much and get plenty of use by me.

And they do release map packs. They have released a couple. So your complaint isn't really valid. Maybe if the map packs cost $14.99 you would be more satisfied? ;)

i kinda got tired of everyone having the same skin as me in games. at first i was using marco polo skin because i beat crushing mode and noone else had it. then every one started using it. i wanted donut drake but i figure hes a bigger target and it takes damn long to level up. now, thanks to buying the eye of indra motion comics, i use skins that noone else uses. pinkerton and rika raja for free, i keep hearing "who the hell is that guy using?"

i dont think she was asian, i forget what she was. shes eddie rajas sister from the first uncharted game. anyway but thats her. they gave out exclusive skins, rika for heroes and pinkerton for villians (i forgot if there was more), for those who bought all 4 episodes of uncharted eye of indra motion comics as a thank you. they also game me all four episodes on together one file. i dont know if they'll still do it but the motion comic is pretty entertaining.
