Kojima Announces MGS Voice Actors For Castlevania
Castlevania: Lords of ShadowOkay, so the announcement isn't exactly mind-bogglingly awesome, but at least we have a few more Castlevania: Lords of Shadow details.
Over the weekend Hideo Kojima first revealed new information on a Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker drama and soundtrack CD, and then moved on to announce that he would personally oversee the localization process for the Japanese version of Lords of Shadow, set to launch in North America on October 19. The list of MGS cast members who will be lending their talents to the game looks like this:
- Akio Otsuka (Solid Snake)
- Mugihito (Hot Coldman)
- Kikuko Inoue (Chico)
- Yumi Kikuchi (Strangelove)
- Hochu Otsuka (Galvez)
- Keiji Fujiwara (Drebin)
- Tomokazu Sugita (Miller)
- Yu Kobayashi (Cecile)
- Houko Kuwashima (Mei Ling)
- Naoki Tatsuta (Sokolov)
- Banjo Ginga (Ocelot)
We don't know which roles each of these actors will have in Lords of Shadow but don't be surprised when the game sounds a lot like the last MGS game you played...you know, if you're in Japan and all. We'll get more information at the Tokyo Game Show next month and believe it or not, Kojima said we can expect even more voice announcements. As for Zone of the Enders 3, Kojima repeated that while the team very much wants to do that project and they're even thinking about gameplay systems. But for now, they've had to push it all back due to "time and staff limitations."

Dunno the names by heart and re-watching all 5 minutes to catch the names ... well, just grab the Japanese (English VO with Jp subs actually) trailer :P

However this new one looks like it could be good. I have no doubt the english voice acting will be very good. I just hope the gameplay is a lot of fun.

this is exactly why i hate announcements of announcements!
there almost always something little, boring.
seriously who cares about voicing?
is that really worth hyping up!?
why cant we go back to the good old days where developers would announce things when there ready.
that way if its disappointing than who cares because no one was expecting it.
if you get a car for your Bday your going to be pretty dam ecstatic!
but, if your told your going to get a Ferrari for your Bday and end up getting a kia.
besides being a lucky bastard your going to be disappointed no?
