DJ Hero 2 Cuts It Up On October 19
Right, like we need another big game in October.
Last year's DJ Hero really was a great addition to the music/rhythm family and it was a smash hit...so of course, Activision asked for a sequel. They're all set to release Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock on September 28 and Call of Duty: Black Ops on November 9, but we still needed a fall date for the highly anticipated DJ Hero 2. Now, it's here: October 19. It'll be on store shelves on that date for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii in North America, and three days later in Europe. It shouldn't come as a big shock to learn it'll be sold in a variety of bundles, including the massive Party Box, which includes the game, two turntables and a microphone for $149.99. Then there's the single-turntable package for $99.99, and the standard copy at the standard price. Featuring over 90 on-disc artists including plenty of today's hottest stars, plus an all-new single-player mode, DJ Hero 2 should be another gem. Don't forget to be all creative!
It's a great option for those who prefer the hip-hop realm to rock, although big music fans might pop for both the new Guitar Hero and DJ Hero 2...right?
