TGS 2010: Michael Jackson Debuts The Experience
Michael Jackson's death shocked the world but that doesn't mean we can't revel in his music.
His songs have caused countless people to sing and dance for years and come November 23, you'll be able to enter a virtual world and do it for "real." A new trailer for Michael Jackson: The Experience debuted at the Tokyo Game Show this year and you can see it below. We catch a bit of gameplay along with a bunch of very happy fans interacting with the new game, which will indeed require the player to both sing and dance. Or maybe you can simply opt to do one or the other.
The music/rhythm genre exploded early this generation and sort of receded for the first time in 2009, but as of now, it's arguably the most mainstream video game category. And with the advent of Michael Jackson: The Experience, music-based software interaction is guaranteed to reach a ton of people. The number of fans worldwide who might be interested in this is...mind-boggling.

The Kinect I get, but why would Ubisoft delay the Move version? I'm sure the Move uses the same movements as the Wiimote, though it is way more accurate. Maybe that's why Ubisoft delayed it, to better optimize the controls for the more-precise Move.
If so, that is a good sign that developers will properly optimize their games for the Move instead of just doing quickie ports, sticking the PS3 version with canned Wii animations.

To be honest, I would much prefer a new Michael Jackson's Moonwalker where there are rhythm sections dispersed in between the main action sequences (that were skipable for those that dont like rhythm games or didnt have the move). It would be one of the best 2 games in one experiences one could imagine for a Michael Jackson game.
