New PixelJunk Springing To Life Soon
The PixelJunk games are always good fun. In fact, they're some of the most entertaining titles to be found on the PSN.
We've had everything from PixelJunk Eden to PixelJunk Monsters to PixelJunk Shooter and now, Q Games has announced the next installment: PixelJunk Lifelike. Revealed by Famitsu, the new quirky adventure will be compatible with PlayStation Move and "will integrate a blend of both music and movement, tasking the player to respond to gestural prompts on-screen." The game is estimated to cost about 500 yen, which only comes to around $5.99 for American audiences, and that's pretty darn agreeable. The game isn't far off, either; they say PixelJunk Lifelike will be ready to go in Winter 2010, which means we don't have a long wait. You should expect to hear more about the anticipated downloadable game at Sony's TGS 2010 press conference tomorrow, so be sure to tune in if you're a fan. For those who aren't as familiar with PSN software as they should be, they might want to log on and check out one of the many PixelJunk offerings.
They're well-priced and well worth your time, especially if you're looking for something fresh and original.

I don't want to start up any kind of usb sticks & memory card collections, all sitting in rows like a bunch of fugly ducklings, or anywhere my physical disc collections.
Plus I really need to upgrade my 60 gigger to a 500 or 640, but no real funds till next year to get that & the external HD I'll need to do the transfer swap-around.
And I don't want to delete anything on my PS3 or have some of my locked game saves gone.
I already lost 2 when my 1st 60Gigger's disc drive started making "raving banshee screams" & had Gamestop replace it.
