3D Dot Game Heroes Update: 50 New Heroes, Like Sackboy
LittleBigPlanet 2 may have been delayed until January, but you can get your Sackboy fill now...in retro-land.
Today, Atlus U.S.A. has announced a special update for their charming retro action/adventure title, 3D Dot Game Heroes. This update will feature no less than 50 fan and staff-created heroes, the ability to carry over certain swords when you start a New Game+, and adjustments to the completion times for the Dash Circuit mini game (please make it easier!). They've also included a bug fix that restores previously absent loading art images "so they will randomly appear and be viewable in the Loading Art Gallery." Oh yes, and you can now save the pixelated kingdom of Dotnia with LBP's Sackboy as the protagonist. Said Atlus Manager of Public Relations and Sales, Aram Jabbari:
"We can think of no more fitting a character to feature than one that has become synonymous with creativity and imagination in gaming: Sackboy™. Now, people who start up their copy of 3D Dot Game Heroes can begin their adventures through the grand Kingdom of Dotnia with one of gaming's most recognizable icons!"
Those 50 fan-created heroes were selected by Atlus from the "Hall of Heroes" character-sharing hub at the game's official website, where players can post up their most impressive hero creations. It's one of the more appealing aspects of 3D Dot Game Heroes, and makes it one of the more entertaining titles of the generation. C'mon, it's the old-fashioned Zelda with millions of little 3D blocks!

Another cool thing about it is that you can also submit your own hero design for a chance to win Amazon video game credits
BTW, the best price I found so far for a "NEW" copy was atis Frye, $35.99 with another $5 off if you spend $30,. Might be free shipping on it also.

FYI, They're giving away early access key Codes for "Laura Croft And The Guardian of Light".
It's for both PC & PS3 users in North America & Europe right now. Yay, I got mine :-)
I don't know how many are left, so you better grab them while they've still got some.
BTW, the DL is 2358 MB's
