Tekken: DR Confirmed by Namco-Bandai

   In case you didn't believe me when I broke the news of Tekken Dark Resurrection arriving within a month, well Namco-Bandai has just made it official. The official confirmation is that Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection will be arriving to the North American PlayStation Network store later in February.

   “We are thrilled to announce that starting later this month, fighting game fans will have the opportunity to experience the ultimate fighting series, TEKKEN, on the PLAYSTATION 3 system, for the first time,” said Makoto Iwai, Executive Vice President and COO at NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. “With lightning fast gameplay, gorgeous next-gen graphics and a massive line-up of characters to choose from, TEKKEN5: Dark Resurrection on the PLAYSTATION 3 system, will deliver the most incredible fighting experience to date as players battle it out to be crowned King of the Iron Fist Tournament”.

   Once again, don't forget that the game can render in HD, as it can display a breathtakingly sharp 1080p. The official press release made no mention of a price-tag yet, but it should be somewhere between $15-20.
