Soldner-X 2 Last Chapter Expansion Set For November

It's one of the most accomplished and enjoyable PSN games out there and now, there's even more incentive to give it a go.

Today, eastasiasoft has announced that the downloadable expansion pack for Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype will be available early next month. Entitled The Last Chapter, it'll go for $4.99 and introduces 3 brand new stages, 13 diverse new challenges, 11 more Trophies, plus a new story ending "and a few more surprises." Furthermore, a patch will drop at the same time; this patch gives fans a new "Massive Attack" difficulty mode, along with some extra enhancements and improvements. The first title, Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer, is there as well, but that one had some difficulty balancing issues and felt like more of a chore to play. The sequel virtually erased those problems and we ended up with one of the more visually appealing and entertaining side-scrolling downloadable products.

The Last Chapter will add plenty more gameplay, too, so if you haven't yet given Final Prototype a try, you might want to indulge.
