Space Channel 5 Sequel, Sega Bass Fishing Set For PSN/XBLA
Space Channel 5We're still waiting to hear about the big boys but in the meantime, here are two more Dreamcast classics for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
Sega has announced that "digitally remastered" versions of Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Sega Bass Fishing will be coming to the PSN and XBLA. The first two in the DC revival project were Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi and we're still hoping for games like Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia and - dare we hope? - Soul Calibur. "The release of these games marks Sega’s ongoing effort to bring its best-sellers from the Dreamcast era to the latest consoles," said Sega vice president of digital business, Haruki Satomi. The sequel to Space Channel 5 released in 2002 but was only available in Japan, although it did come to Europe on the PS2 in 2003. Space Channel 5 was a relatively unique and entertaining experience and Sega Bass Fishing was widely considered to be a solid rod 'n reel game. The question is, are you still interested in playing, or do you think modern-day gamers would want to try such throwbacks...?
Maybe it'll require some of the more popular Dreamcast games before some PSN/XBLA subscribers decide to take a trip back in time.

Anyhow in the case of SC5 PT.2, I can see this as being another case where original material was edited out of for legal reasons.
Other than that it would be nice if SEGA could re-release the dreamcast Aero Dancing game e.g. Aero Dancing, Aero Dancing F(Aero Wings 2 in the west) and Aero Dancing: I, though I guess there are will legal issues given the fact CRI broke off from SEGA to become an independent company.

Even though SEGA might own some dreamcast IP's, they still have to contend with potential legal issues when re-releasing a title, some might include editing material. Why you think Sony cannot release the past Gran Turismo game, there are obvious legal issues that prevent from doing so.

The Shenmue's are what I wan't most, but seeing that the series seems totally dormant, I don't know if I want to put energy into a series that leaves you totally hanging after Shenmue 2.
Other DC games I'd like to see would be Jet Set Radio and Virtua Fighter 3tb.

sega are supporting the PSN with more classics than what sony are!
could literally count the amount of good PS1 classics on the AU store on one hand!
wish they would put up pandemonium 1 and 2, all the looney tunes games especially sheep raider.
that was a classic, by far the best ps1 game ever released!
Apocalypse was a good game too.

Sonic Adventure 2, Skies of Arcadia, Headhunter, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue... any of them would be much better. I'll be interested to know how much Sega Bass actually sells.
