Lara Croft To Receive Co-Op Patch, First DLC Pack
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is one of the most complete, accomplished downloadable titles out there. Hence, you should be interested in the updates.
Firstly, according to UK source Electronic Theatre, Xbox Live members will be the first to receive a new co-op mode and fresh DLC. Online co-op will be activated via free update and the first DLC pack called "All The Trappings" will also be free for XBLA players; it'll offer "a brand new area to conquer and features a combination of puzzle, exploration and combat experiences." That co-op sounds like a blast, too. Both the update and DLC should come to the PlayStation 3 and PC at some point in the near future, but we're not sure if the add-on pack will be free for a limited time; that sounds like it could be an Xbox-only promotion. Well, after all, the game debuted on Live first so obviously, publisher Square-Enix is leaning towards Microsoft on this one. We'll just ignore that, though, 'cuz the game turned out extremely well on all platforms, and PSN users should definitely consider a purchase.
We'll let you know when the co-op patch and DLC comes to the US for PS3/PC users. Our guess is that it'll probably be after Thanksgiving, after the 30-day Live promotion.
